Rickey is live with a witness who saw it happen. Reporter the girls are both 14 years old. The dogs lived in one of their homes according to police. She came over screaming. Reporter slater lives next door and witnessed the officers shoot the two dogs after they they were trying to kill her. Reporter officers arrived at the home and saw two pit bulls attacking the girl and for safety they had to shoot the primary dog in the attack and the second dog tried to attack the officer and was also shot. One of the dogs died on scene and animal control picked up the second dog to be euthanized per just yesterday, cheryl said one the dogs tried to attack her. The brown dog came after us.
