Oregon Doctor Barred From Practicing Medicine After Refusing To Wear Mask
Steven LaTulippe s patients said they were instructed to remove their masks when entering his clinic and were told that masks could cause carbon dioxide toxicity.
The Oregon Medical Board is standing by its suspension of a local doctor who boasted that he and his staff have not worn masks during the coronavirus pandemic, ruling that he cannot practice medicine until the state lifts a public emergency health order.
In its final order on May 6, the board declared Steven LaTulippe “an immediate danger to the public and a serious danger to the public health or safety.”
2020 and the pandemic: A year of (some) physicians behaving badly
Looking back on 2020, if there’s one thing that the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us, it’s that crises reveal character. Unfortunately, the character of too many physicians has been found wanting, as they spent 2020 denying the pandemic, peddling quack cures, or spreading misinformation in the service of defying public health interventions. What can be done?

As I sat down yesterday to write this post, it suddenly occurred to me: This will be my last post of 2020. Out of curiosity, I scrolled back to the very first post I published in 2020 and noticed that it was a post about acupuncture for chronic pain (and, of course, how it doesn’t work).

An Oregon doctor a physician, not a Dr. Jill Biden lost his medical license after speaking out about face masks. What exactly did the doctor say about face masks? He said masks don t do much when it comes to stopping the spread of COVID-19. Of course, Dr. Anthony Fauci said the same thing and didn t lose his medical license. But this isn t Dr. Fauci we re talking about. It s Dr. Steven LaTulippe, a retired Air Force officer and practicing physician for more than 20 years.
The doctor spoke at a Stop the Steal rally on Nov. 7 in Salem, Oregon, made some heretical comments about face masks the Oregon Medical Board doesn t want people to hear, and a few weeks later the board suspended his license. A similar thing happened to Galileo. I would say the city of Salem is known for its witch trials, but it s the wrong Salem and LaTulippe never got a trial.
