SFU Public Square has announced six free online lectures taking place from January to June, 2021.
Hosted by SFU president Joy Johnson, the President’s Faculty Lectures will examine the themes of resilience and recovery from a variety of disciplines.
According to the info on the SFU Public Square website, the short lectures will celebrate cutting-edge research and faculty that engage with communities and mobilize knowledge to make real-world impacts.
The first lecture, The Hidden Gifts of Retail: Resilience and Planning for Community Life , takes place on January 19, and will be given by Jeremy Stone, director of Community Economic Development Programs in SFU’s Faculty of Environment.
