At the beginning of Thursday’s May school board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Jake Long recognized Pinkston Middle School art teacher Steven Hargett as Mountain Home Public Schools’ (MHPS) Teacher of the Year for 2022-23. On MHPS’ social media, they describe the long-time art teacher as “having a heart for kids, families, his colleagues, and this community. He s also a fantastic family man.”
