With Kentucky facing one of the highest physician shortages in the U.S., the UK College of Medicine has focused on creating more capacity to teach physicians through growth here in Lexington and by launching regional campuses in Bowling Green and Northern Kentucky. This year, 190 medical students from all campus sites are set to graduate a 42% increase since the year 2017.
