Lyndon Richardson, former senior member of the Head Hunters in Christchurch, says he has left the gang since admitting being part of a meth dealing operation.
Drug deals were organised over the phone before dealers met with customers. Richardson received a share of the proceeds from some of his associates’ sales. He also received a share of any drug debt money collected by his associates. Richardson was originally scheduled to be sentenced in March along with his co-accused, Broadley, 44, and Strickland, 51, but his sentencing had to be postponed due to illness. Broadley was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, but was released immediately as he had already spent almost three years in custody at the time of his sentencing. Strickland was sentenced to six months’ community detention, followed by 12 months’ supervision.
