PLYMOUTH – The British Beer Company in Cedarville is getting a new name, look and owner. The Select Board approved the transfer of the liquor license to Paul Tupa, who plans to redesign the restaurant and lounge before reopening in the spring as the Plymouth Public House.
Tupa, who also owns Tavern on the Wharf restaurant and bar on the Plymouth waterfront, told the board he plans to close the business so he can perform extensive renovations at the site. He plans to redesign the restaurant and offer a different menu.
“Work should take two to three months, hopefully sooner,” he said. “Our time frame is April 1.”
