EastEnders fans were left reeling after Stuart Highway revealed he had killed DI Thompson the night of Ian Beale s brutal attack.
Brooding Stuart (Ricky Champ) shocked his wife Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks) when he confessed he had accidentally killed his brother Callum s nasty police boss, DI Steve Thompson (Philip Wright) as he sought to shake him up.
Viewers saw brutal flashbacks of the killing, which saw Stuart floor DI Thompson with a punch before storing his body in a downstairs fridge at the funeral parlour.
