Cooper Robert, 8, who was left paralyzed from the waist down after being shot in the Highland Park July Fourth massacre is struggling to come to terms with the new reality of his life.
Robert Bobby Crimo, 21, appeared at Lake County s circuit court today and entered a not guilty plea to the 117 charges after he was indicted for the fatal shooting at the July 4 parade in Highland Park.
Robert Crimo has been indicted on 117 counts, including first-degree murder for shooting dead seven people and injuring more than 40. He gunned down his victims during a July 4th parade in Illinois.
Cooper Roberts spinal cord was severed during the attack in which seven people were killed, and more than 40 others were injured. His twin brother and mother were also wounded in the incident.
