Touting this and as its written right now, 70 of the units will be market rates. 70 , 18 per middle income and 2500 a month that i work with lots of people like you restaurants. They can afford 2500 a month. So, were basically giving a developer several stories, be able to displace a Small Business permanently, and for what . For a few thousand Affordable Housing . Thats just not a tradeoff uncomfortable with. Our Small Businesses are always touted as the heart of the city. Its not acceptable for them to be pushed out in order to allow developers to make basically 80 nonAffordable Housing. Yes, we need housing but this is not the way to do it.
