Jaltek Installs Most Fully Featured Model of Flying Probe Test Machine in the UK
Jaltek has invested in a TAKAYA APT-1400F Flying Probe Test machine from Accelonix Ltd. The new machine will sit alongside Jaltek’s existing Flying Probe further enhancing technical capacity and throughput.
The TAKAYA APT-1400F is reported to be the fastest Flying Probe test system on the market, setting new standards for speed and test coverage with no compromise to quality and reliability.
The system has been specially developed for the test of large quantities of complex circuit boards. The APT-1400F has 6 flying probes, of which 2 are vertical, enabling access to contact points that could not previously be reached. Luton-based Jaltek Systems was named runner-up in the national final of a major manufacturing awards ceremony organised by Make UK, the manufacturers’ organisation.
After winning the regional Business Growth & Strategy Award, Jaltek were put forward for national judging and awarded runner up to the winner.
Jaltek, which has been designing and manufacturing products for over 30 years, provide electronics systems for clients in a range of sectors including medical, aerospace, defence, energy and security.
Judges of the Business Growth and Strategy category said that they were, impressed with the clarity of the company’s primary growth strategy; supporting small disruptive businesses alongside established companies and they showed positive collaboration with Universities. The growth and financial outcomes were impressive.
