Principal Steve Passinault informed families of the decision this afternoon. He says the school was informed that five more students had tested positive for coronavirus, raising the total to thirteen since the first of the month. Passinault says contact tracing is being conducted for those five cases, adding that it’s possible that the total number of students in quarantine may increase to 200.

JACKSON, Mich. (AP) The Consumers Energy Foundation has announced more than $480,000 in grants to help Michigan nonprofits provide critical help to communities during the coronavirus pandemic.
