HICKORY, N.C. (WBTV) - Two elementary school children died in a mobile home fire Saturday afternoon in Catawba County.
A spokesperson for Hickory Schools says the children attended Southwest Primary School.
A brother, 7-year-old Kevin Lee McClure, and sister, 8-year-old Madison Marie McClure, died after a mobile home caught fire around 4 p.m. on 7th Avenue SW.

MORGANTON, N.C. (WBTV) - Morganton Public Safety officers have charged a man with felony larceny after more than $30,000 worth of equipment was stolen from the Burke County Search & Rescue Team last Friday night.
Christopher Otstott was arrested Thursday afternoon just down the road from the Rescue Squad. A second man took off into some woods and has not been found yet.
Otstott was questioned, then charged and arrested.
