Securities Commission has won a major victory in pursuit of a fraudster in the U.S. who faces huge penalties here. Popular Searches The Supreme Court of Nevada has upheld a 2015 B.C. Securities Commission tribunal order for Michael Patrick Lathigee to repay $21.7 million fraudulently raised from nearly 700 investors through a Vancouver-based investment club. The Dec. 10 Nevada high court decision which upheld a Nevada  lower  court decision issued in 2019 allows the B.C. Securities Commission to pursue Lathigee’s assets in the U.S. to help return money lost by investors.
