Jeopardy! Sets Tournament of Champions With Buzzy Cohen as Guest Host | Entertainment

Ken Jennings, Mike Richards, Katie Couric, and Dr. Oz have all stepped in for the late, great Alex Trebek. Who was the best? A former Tournament of Champions winner himself, Cohen was given the nickname “Mr. Personality” by Alex during his 9-game run in 2016 when he accrued a total of $164,603 in winnings. Cohen took the Tournament of Champions title in 2017 and returned to the game as a team captain for the 2019 All-Star Games. Napa County needs wet March to avoid super-dry rain season

Time is running out to keep this from being the rainy season that wasn’t. Napa County Airport as of Friday had 6.02 inches of rain since the rain year began on October 1. Though the airport bordering wetlands near San Pablo Bay is one of the county’s drier locations, that is only 40% of normal for the season-to-date. “That is about as pitiful as you can get,” said Mike Pechner of Fairfield-based Golden West Meteorology. Support local news coverage and the people who report it by subscribing to the Napa Valley Register. March is typically the last month of the rainy season for significant storms, the type that can get the creeks roaring and reservoirs filling.

Napa County s rainy season off to a dismal start

Grape grower Steve Moulds can see what a paltry rain season this has been by looking at the small reservoir he uses to irrigate his vineyard along Dry Creek Road. “Usually, the reservoir is filled by the end of December,” Moulds said on Wednesday morning. “At this point it’s only about 10% to 15% full. This is the most concern I’ve ever had for it.” A major question for Napa County winter weather watchers is when the heavens are once again going to open up and pour down rain. To be certain, the county this rain season has seen an inch here and two-tenths of an inch there. But it hasn’t seen huge storms, the types that make creeks roar and reservoirs fill by delivering several inches of rain in a few days.
