Public Works Director Matt Andvik proposed the rate hikes, which includes no added charge for bulky item pickups, but does eliminate the dedicated "follow truck."
City staff suggested that West Fargo continue to pick up additional garbage and bulky items, but instead of doing so with a follow truck, residents would have to use a scheduling system.
