We could see how these showers and thunderstorms evolve across the area southeast of i95 but more north and west of i95. The front we have been watching is to the north and it is this region here that could show some strong storms with surface trough upon us tomorrow. But there is eight, 9 00, 10 00 it will gradually die down toward 10 00. Overnight it is partly cloudy. It should be dry and on thursday probably cloudy skies and an isolated shower as they begin to evolve during the afternoon. Tomorrow for futurecast it could be more southeast toward the coast. She has been keeping an eye on the storm all joins us live from the Weather Center with the very latest. Jen . A strong cold front pushingn . Through the area is sparking a severe thunderstorm. The mind ea of thunderstorms pushing across our area right now. Moving pretty quickly buto for eastern areas and southern spots under the severe thunderstorm watch through 10 00. Those shaded in bright yellow are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that is eastern lake, geauga, ashtabula, portions of eastern and northern Summit County. N lets go to storm fox and show you what is going on. Igo will take you straight to where the Severe Thunderstorm Warning, by the way this is just newly issued about five minutes ago. This line of severe thunderstorms from ashtabula down to man away is moving pretty quickly here to the northeast at around 50 Miles Per Hour. It is a fastmoving line here and embedded in this line we could have nickel sized hail also damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 Miles Per Hour. I want to see some of the areas that include this thunderstorm warning. Ashtabula, geauga, northern Portage County and ended Trumbull County, you are seeing the Severe Thunderstorm Warning. It will be in a roar in the next couple of minutes as well as streetsboro. Eastern portions of Ashtabula County 6 05 and Simas Edgewood about 6 07. The hill is ot toward middlefield so that is moving over toward or well. It is moving to the north what east at 60 Miles Per Hour. This is6 a pretty fast moving system. We are getting some heavy rain and torrential downpours now starting to get into wind him and jefferson will likely get hit with that pretty soon. That is the severe part of it. Those areas are under Severe Thunderstorm Warning 7 00. You go south and we are still dealing with the heavy rain and southern Summit County from barbertonhe, getting into portis of start county, hartsville, canal fulton and down toward dawn c and wayne county. Then it extends all the way through millersburg and homes kenny. But behind this, just of light rain but its a steady rain for mansfieldig to ashland and over toward norwalk, sandusky and the rain. In lorain countyor, lots of res and power lines down. Th to reiterate, severe thunderstorm watch until 10 00 for those shaded in yellow, mainly eastern areas. Ashtabula, trouble, portage, Geauga County under Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 7 00. Nickel to quarter sized hail. This is the culprit. This very strong cold front as it pushes through the area. Behind it highpressure sets up and it gets it gets more comfortable. In fact, takets a look at these temperatures tomorrow. We hit 90 degrees today and struggling to reach and 70 degrees tomorrow afternoon. Our normal 76 will be below normal tomorrow afternoon. You can see the contrast here. Eightys and 90s along the east coast and behind it the walkie to chicago in the low 70s. The dew points dropping down into the 40s and very dry air 59 degrees tonight and the evening storms will continue to push to the east and they should be wrapping up around 7 30.
