By Larry Spilman Feb 10, 2021 FBI agents arrested Steve Maldonado at Orlando International Airport Wednesday for allegedly participating in the breach of the U.S. Capitol in Washington January 6th. Maldonado is charged with entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct with the intent to disrupt government business. The criminal complaint says a person who knew Maldonado recognized him in the news coverage of the assault and went to the FBI. Maldonado was in federal court in Orlando Wednesday for an initial appearance and was released on $25,000 bond. An image of Maldonado on an FBI website shows him waving a blue flag and wearing a white Trump hat.
