The privately held maker of high-performance blending equipment on Friday, Feb. 25, announced that CEO Jodi Berg will retire effective Sept. 30. Under the company's transition plan, Berg will move into the role of executive adviser on May 31 and Steve Laserson, Vitamix's chief commercial officer, will succeed Berg as CEO.
