brohm to look for way brohm to look for ways to reform the nsa has given a list of suggestions to the white house, suggestions that will not be made public until next year. we are live in washington with more. steve? reporter: a special review board has reported to the president with their recommendations on how to change the nsa operations. now the president has not made the findings public but according to reports, one representation is that recommendation is that control of telephone records be shifted to a third party. meantime the nsa is trying to become more transparent and reassure the public. the agency opened its doors to reporters, including a 60 minutes crew. all of this comes after former nsa contractor edward snowden released information on the scope of the nsa s surveillance activitie activities. they are planning on making a deal with snowden to acquire the documents he is still holding.
