Sycamore High School Junior Logan Heckert (left in the photo) and Senior Dalen Kimble(right) recently completed a camp at the Jeff Jordan State Championship Camp in Ohio. Both wrestlers attended a week long camp in June and returned for something a little tougher as all attendees are seasoned and considered the best in their prospective weights classes.
Both wrestlers will begin their 2021/22 season as 2 time placers with Heckert placing 4th as a freshman and 1st as a sophomore and Kimble placing 2nd as a sophomore and 3rd as a junior.
âThese camps are the key to the success these boys have experienced,â Sycamore Wrestling coach Steve Hamblin said. âThey have attended several years now and this was their first experience with the Hammer camp.â

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A veteran group is hiding Easter eggs for families for children to seek in the morning in southeast Missouri.
It’s called an Easter Egg Hide and a $20 donation allows them to hide 25 candy filled plastic eggs in your yard.
They are doing this event as one way to raise money for their non profit organization whose mission is helping other veterans adapt to life again after serving.
