Two weeks after a jury found former Cincinnati council member PG Sittenfeld guilty of bribery and extortion charges Sittenfeld's legal team is accusing a juror of misconduct and demanding a new trial.
Voters elected 27-year-old P.G. Sittenfeld as the youngest councilman in Cincinnati history in 2011. But all of that changed on November 19, 2020 when FBI agents arrested Sittenfeld for six crimes related to public corruption. His trial begins Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Cincinnati.
The vast majority of races Tuesday in Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont counties were uncontested, but a Warren County commission race on the GOP ballot drew interest.
