Months after Pennsylvania's prohibition on plastic regulations expired, more Main Line communities are moving ahead with their plans to reduce plastic waste.
Plastic bag bans are becoming more popular in Pennsylvania's towns, as Haverford Township became the first in Delaware County to pass a one, which will begin to be enforced in January 2023. The Board of Commissioners approved the single-use plastic ordinance in an 8-1 vote on Monday, hoping to start a trend in the rest of the suburban county.
