A suspicious packet received by a business office at Trinity Professional Plaza, 3500 Trinity Drive Tuesday afternoon resulted in the Los Alamos Police Department Bomb Squad and Los Alamos Fire Department HazMat Team being deployed to the scene.

The Los Alamos County Fire Department has received Accredited Agency status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) for meeting the criteria established through the CFAI’s voluntary self-assessment and accreditation program.
The Los Alamos Fire Department is one of 280 agencies in the world to achieve Internationally Accredited Agency status with the CFAI and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc. (CPSE).
