Town Councilor Ron Lassonde was elected as the mayor of Paradise during a town council meeting Tuesday with former Mayor Greg Bolin to step into the role of vice mayor.
The Paradise Parks and Recreation Department held their Countdown to Christmas in Paradise event on Saturday. The event featured a holiday craft fair, community ornament crafting, Christmas carols, a visit from Santa Claus, and a parade of lighted trucks.
