LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) A former teacher at Lafayette Jeff High School has pleaded guilty to child sex charges involving a student on Thursday. Steve Abston was arrested at the school in December of 2019. According to prosecutors, he showed the student a nude photo of a man s genitals on school grounds, during school hours.
Abston had been a Science teacher. Lafayette School Corporation Superintendent Les Huddle said the school board fired Abston in April of 2020.
