How are the bluechips doing?
After opening in the green, benchmark indices maintained declined below the flatline. At 11.36 am, BSE flagship Sensex was down 92 points or 0.17 per cent to 52,833. NSE benchmark Nifty dropped 18 points or 0.12 per cent to 15,842.
In the 50-share pack Nifty,
ONGC was the biggest gainer, up 2.23 per cent. Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Grasim Industries, Divi’s Labs, NTPC, Asian Paints and SBI were among other gainers.
HDFC Life Insurance was the top loser in the pack, down 2.12 per cent. JSW Steel, TCS, L&T, Coal India, Titan Company, IndianOil, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki and UltraTech Cement were other losers in the pack.
