BCO will produce a fully-staged “Barber of Seville” with an orchestra!
Baltimore Concert Opera is proud to share that not only will it be making its return to its home stage at the Engineers Club this fall but it will also be making a BOLD LEAP FORWARD with a major addition to programming. For the first time,
BCO will produce a fully staged opera with an orchestra – Rossini’s iconic
Barber of Seville.
Returning subscribers will be offered the opportunity to renew on August 2nd and single tickets will go on sale on August 16th. BCO will continue to produce its concert operas and Thirsty Thursdays at the Opera series at the Engineers Club. The company has long been planning this expansion and is ready to take on the responsibility to serve the community on a larger scale. While BCO will branch out to Stephens Hall at Towson University for its full production, the company remains committed to Baltimore City and its vision to Build Community through Opera.
