Oil City, Pennsylvania - The Justice Department announced that it has filed a lawsuit against Allen and Heidi Woodcock, owners and managers of rental properties in Oil City, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation in violation of the Fair Housing Act.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleges that Allen Woodcock sexually harassed a female tenant in April 2019 after he entered her home to perform maintenance. According to the complaint, Allen Woodcock touched the tenant’s body without her consent and forcibly tried to kiss her, and the Woodcocks evicted the tenant after she reported the harassment to Heidi Woodcock.

A 19-year-old Penn Hills man facing attempted homicide charges in the January shooting of a 20-year-old pregnant woman in Leetsdale was sentenced to federal prison Monday for his role in a large-scale heroin trafficking ring busted by the FBI two years ago.
Roderick Ferguson, 19, who has been linked to the McKees Rocks and Brentwood areas, will serve a year and three months in federal prison for possessing and selling heroin and fentanyl as a drug runner for the gang known as Darccide/Smash 44, or DS 44, Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman said. His prison term will be followed by two years of probation.
OIL CITY A woman who lived in a rented house since late 2017 suddenly found herself facing eviction in the spring of 2019.
The reason, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, was that the tenant had complained that her landlord had sexually harassed her by touching her without her consent and trying to kiss her.
“You are out, the landlord s wife said in a text message to the tenant on April 28, 2019, according to the Justice Department. You got 10 days, other texts said. You are a liar.”
That same day, the tenant got a notice to vacate, the Justice Department said.
