The 35th Black Hills Powwow, now one of the leading Native American cultural events in the United States, commenced from October 6th through the 8th, featuring participation from over 100 tribes across the United States and Canada. Held at the Summit Arena within the Monument, it drew more than 18,000 attendees, celebrating Native culture with 36 diverse dancing categories showcasing traditional attire, cultural dancing, and singing.
