A judge has allowed gardaí more time to get the Director of Public Prosecutions' direction (DPP) on the case of three youths charged with attacking US tourist Stephen Termini in Dublin.
The country was in a state of shock after the stabbing of three children and a crèche worker outside Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire on Parnell Square and the subsequent riots that ravaged Dublin city centre. Yet in times of distress and anguish, people band together and the best of humanity can shine through.
