A student at Horlick High School in racine is behind bars this morning. His came after officials found him in school carrying not one. But two knives and some ammo. James lashley is charged with having a dagerous weapon on school property. Officials admit lashleys own mother tipped off police. In milwaukee. Two Police Officers were hurt while trying to arrest a Student Armed with a toy pellet gun. Police say the 13 year old student at Benjamin Franklin school became combative. The officers suffered minor injuries. The teen was taken police say seven kids were found in a drug house in racine. And now the mother of one of the children faces charges. Shanicka harris faces several felonies. Police say they served a search warrant at her home, and found cocaine and marijuana. Working in the most unforgiving environment known to man, two american astronauts spent part of this day performing a dramatic Emergency Repair job outside the International Space station. The pictures of a space walk were stunning. The task itself, critical. Replacing a piece of hardware that could prove vital to keeping the space station livable. All with people around the planet looking over their shoulders via a live nasa video stream. The job isnt finished yet and there are more space walks to come. Meantime adding more drama to the day was the fact that this was the first space walk since a pretty close call for another astronaut last july. Nbcs tom costello reports. Go to egress.
