11/26/2022 – Michigan 45, Ohio State 23 – 12-0, 9-0 Big Ten, Big Ten East Champions I had to have a strange conversation with my son on Saturday about why I was watching the television with the sound off. In his experience the TV is generally better when the images on screen are paired with explanatory messages into his ears. I tried to tell him that I really wanted Michigan to win this game, I thought they were about to get hammered, and that I did not want to hear the exultant cries of central Ohio's finest as they dunked Michigan into the center of the Earth. He seemed to understand in the distant way you understand that someone has a particular moral compass you cannot comprehend but nonetheless accept. My son thinks Michigan is good at stuff, so he asked why I thought Michigan was going to get dunked into the center of the Earth. I told him that Michigan's best player the best player in America could not play because he was injured, and that Ohio State was very good
As of midnight, The Wolverine is no longer a part of the Rivals network and is now part of On3. Reading the tea leaves, we knew a lot of this was going to happen.
On3 took all the writers/features from Rivals, so they now have E.J. Holland, Chris Balas, Clayton Sayfie, etc. and "The Fort" remains their message board.
Meanwhile, Rivals had to hire an all-new crew and change their forum name (Banner Banter?!?!). The writers include Josh Henschke, Adam Schnepp, Brandon Justice, Daniel Dash, Anthony Broome, Dennis Fithian, and Stephen Osentoski.

Rutgers 74, Indiana 70
Your big winner of this week was (sigh) Michigan, the only team to play two games and get through unscathed and they did so with two blowouts, one over a surging Purdue squad. They ll hang onto first place in the conference through the department-wide pause because Iowa s shooters went cold while their defense gave up 1.18 points per possession to Indiana.
The Hoosiers, naturally, turned around and lost at home to Rutgers. Wisconsin, meanwhile, fell another game behind the Wolverines with a home loss to Ohio State. The Buckeyes were nipped at home earlier in the week by the same Purdue team that Michigan hammered a few days later. Maryland got similarly smashed by the Wolverines, then dominated Minnesota on the road.
