MARCH 10, 2021 (Stamford, CT): Evaton, Inc. is pleased to announce several changes to its leadership team. On the commercial side of the business, Mark Rodriguez has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for the East Region and Joseph Eckrich, Vice President of the Central Region, will expand his scope of responsibility to include Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. April Gordon has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing, overseeing award-winning brands such as Sandeman, Casa Ferreirinha, Silk & Spice, Ramazzotti and Montecillo. This announcement comes on the heels of a strong 2020 performance for Evaton, despite the challenges faced by the industry.

Bayly named inaugural Lee Hunter Distinguished Professor
Philip V. Bayly, an innovative researcher of waves and oscillations in the mechanics of cells and biological tissues, has been named the inaugural Lee Hunter Distinguished Professor in the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.
Bayly, who has been chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science since 2008, was installed Oct. 28.
