Three days before his wedding, Tim Smith was preparing the family property for his nuptials when he was crushed between a bobcat and excavator.
The accident caused injuries so critical that his soon-to-be wife was encouraged to ride in the rescue chopper with him.

Mr Smith suffered critical head and upper body injuries and spent several weeks in a coma before he woke up to discover his partner, Kym, was expecting their second child.
