Nova Scotia man arrested in connection with a provincewide warrant

  The Nova Scotia RCMP say they have found a man wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant issued earlier this month. Stephen Alan Dorey, 37, of Meadowvale, N.S. has been arrested by the Kings District RCMP. Dorey has been remanded in custody and will appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on May 25. N.S. RCMP looking for man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

  HALIFAX The Nova Scotia RCMP is asking for the public s help finding a man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant. Thirty-seven-year-old Stephen Alan Dorey of Meadowvale, Nova Scotia faces the following charges, which police say happened in the Wilmot and Melvern Square areas of Nova Scotia: Break and enter and commit Sexual assault Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose Possession of counterfeit money Breach of undertaking (4 counts) Police describe Dorey as an Indigenous man, 5”11, 196 lbs., with hazel eyes and black hair. The RCMP says it has attempted to locate Dorey, but is now asking for the public’s help. Police say they believe he’s in the Berwick to Bridgetown area of Kings and Annapolis Counties.

RCMP: Man yelling from vehicle in rural Nova Scotia caught with meth, weapons

  HALIFAX The Kingston, N.S. RCMP says a call about a man shouting from his vehicle ended in a drug and weapons bust in Wilmot, N.S. Tuesday. Police say at around 10:40 a.m., they were notified of a man outside a business on Main Street in Kingston, N.S. who was yelling from a vehicle at two women. According to police, the man fled the scene, and throughout their investigation they learned he had breached an undertaking. The RCMP says an off-duty member spotted the suspect walking on Hwy. 1 in Wilmot. The member then contacted dispatch and had him arrested, without incident.
