In MLB Tuesday, the Yankees and Mets lost, the Red Sox won, in the NBA Playoffs, the Celtics lost, and in Girls Softball, O'Brien Tech defeated Wolcott Tech.

A trip to Ansonia Wednesday - Girls Softball - CTC Semifinals - Kaynor Tech(Waterbury) at O Brien Tech; I love going to see these Tech games - the girls are always glad to see you and they welcome you with open arms. I enjoyed talking to both teams before the game. I know they appreciate the coverage and quite frankly should get more.
As for the game, it was nip and tuck for 4 innings and then the O Brien bats took over and it was all over - the Condors had themselves a 20-6 win over Kaynor and advanced to the Championship Game to play Abbott Tech(Danbury) on Friday at Albertus Magnus.
