About 20 minutes from the airport. The airplanes have both landed on the ground in those passengers have been attended to. We are told the trouble was with two Inbound United Airlines flights that requested medical assistance because of severe turbulence. One was from san francisco, one from san juan, puerto rico. The flight from san juan reported there were individuals in need of attention. We are told they are receiving services from emergency medical services. All other flights continued as normal. The turbulence forecast map you can see why they ran into trouble. There was severe turbulence over the north carolina, maryland, virginia corridor. Most people were strapped into their seats, but one woman was injured who was standing up waiting to get into the bathroom. She was not sure how severe the injury was to the woman, but she was one of the people being treated by the medical personnel.
