The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is offering two new programs this fall: a Master in Finance (MiF) and a Master in Management (MiM). Poets&Quants recently spoke with Stephanie O’Connor, Booth’s associate dean of Career Services, to gain insight into what students can expect when they enroll in these programs. Booth’s main goal, and a focus from the start in both programs, is to prepare students to be excellent job candidates, O’Connor says.
Eights projects from across seven Co Wexford secondary schools have qualified for the Dublin City Finals of the Junk Kouture competition 2024 which will be held at the 3 Arena in Dublin on Sunday, May 5.
Contact lenses, milk filter socks, and bits of wire were just some of the items utilised by the transition year students of Colaiste Bride as they hosted two Junk Kouture fashion shows at the school last week. Involving 120 students, the two shows, one during the day for the younger audiences and one in the evening for friends and family, saw more than 1500 people pack into the school to watch the girls’ creations come to life.
