Staff File Photo/Paul Franz Related stories ORANGE There were no contested races in the annual town election on Monday, and although everyone running for a seat was victorious, six positions remain unfilled. There were no successful candidates for the one-year seat or the two-year seat on the Elementary School Committee; the two-year position on the Mahar School Committee; the five-year and two-year seats with the housing authority; and a three-year non-veteran position as a trustee of the soldiers’ memorials. Town Clerk Nancy Blackmer said all boards and committees will have to fill empty seats by coming to a consensus about who should be selected.
