A jury found Troy Bunero and Francis Longo guilty of charges that included second-degree charges of conspiracy, official misconduct and pattern of official misconduct, as well as third-degree charges of theft by unlawful taking and misapplication of government property back in June 2015.
Bunero, who was taken into custody on September 15th, 2016 and released on January 12th of this year, argued that his trial attorney did not present a viable “economic duress defense,” meaning that he would’ve been fired if he didn’t perform the tasks asked of him.
