The Capital Area Transportation Authority is launching "Art in Motion" this May 18-19 to coincide with the art festival and the MSU Spring Arts & Crafts Show.
Whether you prefer film, music, theater, visual art, dance or comedy, Greater Lansing offers events for all arts enthusiasts this weekend. There’s also Impression 5 Science Center’s LEGOPalooza fundraiser, a euchre tournament, a few Friday evening fish fries and more.
This weekend, there are so many events going on around Greater Lansing that you may find your head spinning at the thought of choosing what to do. From concerts and music festivals to dance and theater performances, an ‘80s Prom and even a bar hop, you should probably break out your calendar to make sure you don’t overschedule.

ELIGIBILITY AND GUIDELINES
Students in K-12+ are eligible to participate.
One piece of artwork per student is allowed.
Each participating school is allowed up to 20 entries of student artwork.
Artwork must be created during the 2020 â 2021 academic school year.
All work must be two dimensional, suitable for framing, and may not exceed 18â in eitherdirection.
School-appropriate subjects are accepted (i.e., no images of weapons, drugs, gang symbols, alcohol, smoking, racial or gender slurs, etc.).
