NI partnership bears fruit for BBC3
Pubcaster BBC3 in the UK has commissioned its first show to come out of the partnership between BBC Northern Ireland and funding agency Northern Ireland Screen, announced last November.

After two commissioning rounds with submissions from local companies and a pilot episode, BBC3 has ordered a factual format working-titled The Fast & the Farmer(ish) from Londonderry prodco Alleycats.
The show was chosen over Scran With My Nan, which features celebrities going to eat at their grandmothers’ houses and receiving life lessons as well as food. The pilot has been uploaded to BBC iPlayer.
Stellify takes Masked Singer creator’s latest
Sony-backed Stellify Media has secured the UK and US remake rights to a new format from the creator of The Masked Singer.
Kieran Doherty
My Ranking is a studio gameshow mixed with a celebrity singing contest where contestants are challenged to guess how a live audience will rank the night’s performances, from best to worst.
The format was created by Won-Woo Park through his prodco DiTurn, which has just completely filming a non-broadcast pilot in Korea.
Kieran Doherty, joint-CEO and founder of Northern Ireland-based Stellify Media, said: “We cannot wait to take this show to market and work alongside Won-Woo Park. Just like Masked Singer, it is modern, funny and play-along for the viewers at home.”
