A HEALTH centre has been congratulated for hitting a 10,000 vaccination milestone. Clitheroe Health Centre have said that they have vaccinated over 10,500 people, mainly over 70 s and care and frontline workers, since the start of the vaccination programme from all over the Ribble Valley. The NHS team have been assisted by Clitheroe and Ribblesdale Rotary Clubs have helped to keep the programme, which runs for 12 and a half hours a day, operating as smoothly as possible. The behind the scenes work has included transport for the elderly and vulnerable to and from the centre, the councils provision of free parking for those getting a jab and an information hub for advice on all aspects of the pandemic.
