A new live-action series for Disney+ starring the renowned ape, King Kong, is being developed. Based on the original writings of Merian C. Cooper and Joe DeVito's new King Kong novelizations, James Wan's Atomic Monster and Stefany Folsom are producing a live-action series featuring the ape for Disney+ that will star the ape.
