Sofia of Tortola has been sold in-house by Ocean Independence brokers, Edouard Vignal who represented the seller, and Eric Trupheme, who represented the buyer.
Sofia of Tortola features exterior architecture by Stefano Righini Design and a contemporary interior aesthetic by Zuretti Interior Design. She can accommodate up-to eight guests across one master suite, one VIP stateroom, one double stateroom and one twin, and her guests are taken care of by a crew of three.
Her exterior features include sheltered side decks, a retractable hardtop sunroof, al fresco dining and seating area, a sunbathing area and a bar. On the foredeck is further sunbathing space, and to the aft a second al fresco dining area.

She can accommodate as many as 12 guests between her five cabins, and also hosts a crew of nine. Her interiors has been finished in a warm colour palette, with browns, creams and golds.
Checkmate was launched in 2012, and delivered to her American owners shortly thereafter. She is the 15th hull of Benettiâs Vision line. The motor yacht cruises at 14 knots, and has a top speed of 15 knots. She had a last known asking price of â¬10,500,000.
