Fans of great music and song can look forward to a very special evening on Friday, December 18, when local songstress Elle Marie O Dwyer will host an online fundraising concert for Kanturk Community Hospital. Staff contacted me a few weeks ago about the possibility of doing this for the residents and I jumped at the idea, Elle Marie said. The hospital is an essential amenity for the people of North Cork and members of my own family have attended the hospital in the past. We will be performing in the chapel on the night and Peter O Callaghan of On Track Films has offered his services to film the show, it is sure to be very special, she said.
