(KNSI) – With a refreshed look and logo for its 10th season, the St. Cloud Rotary Club has unveiled its 2021 Summertime by George (SBG) concert series lineup.
This year’s lineup will feature some of the most popular performers from the previous nine seasons including Johnny Holm, the Fabulous Armadillos, Killer Vees, Michael Shynes, GB Leighton, Transit Authority, Pamela Helmer McNeill, Collective Unconscious, and more.
The Middle Town Market will be back with a variety of food vendors.
Other attractions include Little Georgetown with activities for kids,
Opening Acts with live music on stage starting at 5 p.m., and Eastman Tavern serving beer and wine.

A project of St. Cloud Rotary, the weekly free concerts are staged Wednesdays at Lake George. Music lovers can bring lawn chairs or blankets, some cash for food and drink and enjoy two acts in the open air. The opening acts take the stage weekly at 5 p.m. with the headliners taking over from 6:30-9 p.m.
Middle Town Market will again bring food trucks to the park; the Eastman Tavern beer and wine garden and Little Georgetown activities for kids will also return.
A Rotary Club announcement said it will still be taking pandemic precautions with new handwashing and sanitizing stations placed throughout the park. A COVID-19 vaccine clinic sponsored by CentraCare and Stearns County Public Health will be held in conjunction with the event from 4-7 p.m. for the first six weeks of the concert series.
Waite Park and St. Joseph Bike Rentals Back Out Again for Summer
Waite Park and St. Joseph’s grant-funded Bike Share program that launched last August is back and ready for summer 2021.
The bike-share program originally started in 2019 as a pilot program that was funded by Stearns County Public Health from the Statewide Health Improvement Program. It then officially launched with the bikes being available to the public in August of 2020.

The bikes are located at both River’s Edge Park in Waite Park and at the Lake Wobegon trailhead in St. Joseph. There is an electronic locking system that you unlock by renting the bike through the Movatic mobile app. The bikes are really inexpensive to rent at just $1 per hour, and there is no time limit. All bikes also are adjustable and have a basket for storing personal items while you bike. What s great about the app system is that you can check to see if a bike is available before you head to the location to rent
