Ballots were mailed to voters on March 31, and the deadline for ballots to be returned to local FSA offices or postmarked is April 28. Nominated to represent local administrative area 2 (LAA2) for a three-year term is Ronda (Missy) Buck of Akeley. Buck has produced crops and livestock for 25 years and has been an active member of the Hubbard FSA county committee in the past.

Producers in Local Administrative Area 2, which consists of Akeley, Badoura, Crow Wing Lake, Farden, Guthrie, Hart Lake, Helga, Hendrickson, Lakeport, Mantrap, Nevis, Steamboat River, Thorpe and White Oak townships are encouraged to nominate a producer to serve on the Wadena-Hubbard County FSA Committee. FSA’s county committees are a critical component of the day-to-day operations of FSA and allow grassroots input and local administration of federal farm programs.
