Philadelphia s Fork is making deliveries to the Philadelphia suburbs to meet clientele who can’t make it out to the city during this pandemic.
The 23-year-old Old City restaurant is known for its indoor and farm-to-table dining. Ellen Yin and her staff created “Fork on the Road,” an elevated takeout experience that meets guests where they are.
The new program has created a partnership with four vendors in the suburbs Eclat Chocolate in West Chester, Curds N Whey in Abington, Culinary Harvest in Wayne and Birchrun Hill Farms in Chester Springs. The vendors act as virtual grocery stores where guests can purchase Fork’s prepared foods and have them delivered to their homes.
